To all those complaining about the Walmart alerts this morning - the site is flashing stock so watch out tonight for a real drop.

Sure enough, Walmart dropped again with pre orders for bundles and a few more disc consoles.

Walmart released a small stock of 52 units - too few for the alert to fire.There may be more coming.

So it appears Walmart has been allowing 3rd parties to post offers for PS5s at the store product's URL. So while PS5s were "in stock" at Walmart yesterday and today, they were at scalper rates:

The Walmart Disc edition flashed stock briefly this Sunday afternoon but it's unclear if this was a bug with the API or if there was stock available. It's at least an indication of things changing on their end so keep you eyes on it over the next couple of days.

Things were quiet on boxing day for PS5 restocks in Canada. Seems like retailers were rushing to get all the stock out they could before the Christmas for the holiday rush.

Announcement from Walmart Canada tonight - they are clearing carts for PS5 so that people don't have early access. Sounds like there might be a drop coming soon...

For those who were lucky enough to order a Playstation 5 during the December 3rd restock at Walmart, deliveries have started coming 2-3 days after. This new injection of PS5s will hopefully help drive down the value on the after market. Will be keeping an eye on the indicator today.

Walmart refreshed their stock of PS5s on December 3rd, 11am in line with EB. The stock did now seem to go online until 11:10am and by that time the traffic had made it nearly unusable. The stock sold out quickly.
